4-2REMOVING THE OVEN CONTROL/DISPLAY BOARDS,AND THE TOUCH PANEL ASSEMBLY1. Disconnect the electrical power to theoven.2. Open the oven door.3. Remove the bottom screw from each ofthe two side trim pieces (see below).4. To remove the side trim, pull the bottomout approximately 2˝, and slide the topdown to free it from the control panel.CAUTION: When you work on the built-inoven, be careful when handling the sheet metalparts. Sharp edges may be present, and youcan cut yourself if you are not careful.6. To remove the oven control panel, pull itout at the bottom, and lift and unhook itfrom the oven cabinet support at the top.7. Disconnect the wire connectors from thecontrol board and set the panel assemblyface down on a padded surface to protectthe finish.ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARDDisconnect power before servicing.Replace all panels before operating.Failure to do so could result in death orelectrical shock.WARNING5 Wire Connectors5.
