Operation104VCS 100seriesBackupYou can copy the video sequences recorded on the video ringbuffer of the VCS device to your computerís hard disk and securethem as a backup.These buttons are provided for backup to the hard disk:Normal backup to the hard disk of the computer(live recording)" Click on the recorded sequence in the information field to the rightof the video window." Click on the button to start the live recording of the currently shownimages." Click on the button agaein to stop the backup.You can repeat this several times during the replay of thesequence.Fast backup to the hard disk of the computer(entire file)" Click on the recorded sequence in the information field to the rightof the video window." Click on the button to start a fast backup. The entire file will besecured to your computerís hard disk. During the backup the videowindow remains black.The location of the recordings on the hard drive can be selected inthe settings of the VCS device (see page 90).NoteIn order for the secured video images to be displayed you caninstall the special MPEG Player on the computer. The latest versionof the MPEG Player may be installed from the supplied softwareCD, it is also available from your VCS service centre or from theInternet via the download site under www.vcs.com. |
