Dongle Mode, Connection (for MS840P ONLY)Dongle Mode (with SCM support)In order to establish a proper connection between your computer and a scannerthrough a dongle, we suggest that you follow these step-by-step instructions:1. Turn on your computer or laptop PC.2. Insert a dongle into a USB port of thecomputer or laptop PC.3. Scan the MAC address of the dongle byusing the MS840B scanner.4. When being successfully connected tothe dongle, the scanner will beep shortlyone time with a high tone.You can also connect the MS840B scanner optionally to another dongle byfollowing the steps made below.1.
