22USING THE TELEVISION AS A COMPUTER MONITORIMPORTANT – Before connecting thecomputer to the television you mustensure the computer settings arecorrect for the television. You MUST dothis using your old monitor.WINDOWS XP, WINDOWS VISTA1) Switch on your computer2) When finishing booting up right clickyour mouse anywhere on the screen3) Left click your mouse onProperties/Personalise4) Left click your mouse on Setting/DisplaySettings. Ensure the screen resolutionis set to what is shown in the technicalspecifications section toward the rear ofthis user guide.
