English - 30 -Using Audio Video Sharing Network ServiceAudio Video Sharing feature uses a standard that easesthe viewing process of digital electronics and makesthem more convenient to use on a home network.This standard allows you to view and play photos, musicand videos stored in the media server connected to yourhome network.1. Nero Media Home InstallationThe Audio Video Sharing feature cannot be used if theserver programme is not installed onto your PC or ifthe required media server software is not installedonto the companion device. Please prepare your PCwith the Nero Media Home programme. For moreinformation about the installation, please refer to the“Nero Media Home Installation” section.2. Connect to a Wired or Wireless NetworkSee the Wired/Wireless Connectivity chapters fordetailed configuration information.3. Play Shared Files via Media BrowserSelect Media Browser by using the directional buttonsfrom the main menu and press OK. The media browserwill then be displayed.Audio Video SharingSelect the desired media type on the main media browsermenu and press OK. If sharing configurations are setproperly, Device Selection screen will be displayedafter selecting the desired media type. If availablenetworks are found, they will be listed on this screen.Select media server or network that you want toconnect to using the Up or Down buttons and pressOK. If you want to refresh the device list, press theGreen button. You can press Menu to exit.If you select the media type as Videos and choosea device from the selection menu. Then select thefolder with video files in it on the next screen and allthe available video files will be listed.To play other media types from this screen, you can goback to main Media Browser screen and select themedia type as desired and then perform the networkselection again. Or press the Blue button to switch tonext media type quickly without changing the network.Refer to the Media Browser menu section for furtherinformation on file playback.If a problem occurs with the network, please switchyour television off at the wall socket and back on again.Trick mode and jump are not supported with the AudioVideo Sharing feature.PC/HDD/Media Player or any other devices that arecompatible should be used with a wired connectionfor higher playback quality.Use a LAN connection for quicker file sharing betweenother devices like computers.Note: There may be some PC’s which may not be able toutilize the Audio Video Sharing feature due to administratorand security settings (such as business PC’s).For best home network streaming with this TV, the Nerosoftware should be installed.Nero MediaHome InstallationTo install Nero MediaHome, please proceed asfollows:Note: The Audio Video Sharing feature cannot be used ifthe server programme is not installed onto your PC or ifthe required media server software is not installed onto thecompanion device.1. Enter the link below completely in the address-barof your web browser.http://www.nero.com/mediahome-tv2. Click the Download button on the opening page.The installation file will be downloaded onto yourPC.3. After the download is completed, double click onthe installation file to start the installation. Theinstallation wizard will guide you through theinstallation process.4. The prerequisites screen will be displayed first.The installation wizard checks the availabilityof required third-party software on your PC. Ifapplications are missing they are listed and mustbe installed before continuing installation.5. Click the Install button. The integrated serial willbe displayed. Please do not change the displayedserial.6. Click the Next button. The License Conditions(EULA) screen will be displayed. Please readthe license agreement carefully and select theappropriate check box if you agree to the terms ofthe agreement. Installation is not possible withoutthis agreement.7. Click the Next button. On the next screen you canset your installation preferences.8. Click the Install button. The installation beginsand finishes automatically. A progress bar willindicate the state of the installation process.9. Click the Finish button. The installation iscompleted. You will be directed to the web site ofthe nero software.10. A shortcut is now placed on your desktop.Congratulations! You successfully installed NeroMediaHome on your PC.Run Nero MediaHome by double clicking on the shortcuticon. |
