Installing the Spark Plugs1. Install the spark plugs and the metal washer. Ensurethat the air gap is set correctly.2. Tighten the spark plugs to 16 ft-lb (22 N-m).3. Connect the wires to the spark plugs (Figure 40).Fuel SystemMaintenanceReplacing the Fuel FilterService Interval: Every 200 hours/Yearly (whichevercomes first)—Replace the fuel filter.Never install a dirty filter if it is removed from the fuelline.1. Disengage the PTO, move the motion control leversto the neutral locked position, and set the parkingbrake.2. Stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for allmoving parts to stop before leaving the operatingposition.3. Allow the machine to cool down.4. Squeeze the ends of the hose clamps together andslide them away from the filter (Figure 41).7. Remove the filter from the fuel lines.8.
