Prepare the Computer.CAUTION: Make sure thecomputer is turned off, the lid is closed,and the AC Adapter is disconnected.Failure to do so can result in damage tothe computer.Place the computer upside down on aprotected surface with the front edgefacing you.Step 2. Remove the Battery Pack.1. Slide the left battery tab to theunlock position.2. With your right thumb, slide theright battery tab in the releasedirection and hold.3. Remove the battery by lifting theside where the arrow is pointing.(HDD Removal) Steps 3-8Step 3. Locate the HDD Bay.Place the computer on the protectedsurface with the Hard Disk Drive (HDD)Bay facing you as shown in the picture.These easy instructions are intended to guide you through the replacement process.
