Prepare the Computer.CAUTION: Make sure thecomputer is turned off, the lid isclosed, and the AC Adapter isdisconnected. Failure to do so canresult in damage to the computer.Place the computer upside down ona protected surface with the frontedge facing you.Step 2. Remove the Battery Pack.Locate the two release tabs asshown in the picture. One is on theleft end of the battery pack, and theother is located on the right side.Using your thumbs and fingers pushboth tabs in the release direction;gently push the battery pack awayfrom you.Step 3. Locate the SIM CardThe SIM Card is located behind thebattery pack near the left side.These easy instructions are intended to guide you through the replacement process.9 To avoid electric shock please make sure product is turned off and AC Adaptor is disconnectedfrom the power source. Remove jewelry before you begin work to avoid scratching the surface ofyour notebook computer.*9 Place your notebook computer on a clean, stable and covered surface to avoid damage to thecomputer's case.*9 Follow the ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) damage prevention instructions:o Hold parts by the edges, away from exposed circuitry when possible.o Do not walk around excessively as this promotes static build-up.9 The appearance of the electronic components shown in the illustrations may be different from thecomponents shipped.
