Bluetooth52Communication between theCamera and Printer Using theBluetoothFor communication between the camera and printer withBluetooth, the followings are required:• The same passkey set on the camera and printer• The lamp litChecking the current settingsYou can check the current passkey settings on thecamera and printer.Settings on the camera1 Display the Setup display.For details on displaying the Setup display, see“Displaying the Setup display” on page 34.2 Select Bluetooth by pressing v or V of the controlbutton.3 Press ENTER of the control button.The Bluetooth display appears.4 Select PROPERTY by pressing v or V of thecontrol button.5 Press ENTER of the control button.The Property display appears, and you can checkthe passkey and address.6 Press ENTER of the control button.To exit the menu operation, press the MENU button.Settings on the printer1 Turn on the printer.2 Press the MENU button.3 Press V of the control button to display BluetoothSETTING [>>] on the operation display.4 Press B of the control button.The Bluetooth address appears.5 Press V of the control button to display PASSKEYINPUT [>>] on the operation display.6 Press B of the control button.The passkey currently set appears on the PASSKEYINPUT display.7 Press the EXEC button.To exit the menu operation, press the MENU button.Changing the passkey settingsYou can change the passkey as required.On the UPX-C200 and separately available UP-DX100Digital Photo Printer, the same passkey has been set atthe factory. For communication security, it isrecommended to change the passkey for your system.For details on changing settings, refer to the OperatingInstructions (Advanced Operations).If the lamp is offIf the lamp is off, the Bluetooth function isturned off. You can activate the function following theprocedures below.To turn on the lamp of the camera1 Display the Setup displayFor details on displaying the Setup display, see“Displaying the Setup display” on page 34.2 Select Bluetooth by pressing v or V of the controlbutton.3 Press ENTER of the control button.4 Select MODULE by pressing v or V of the controlbutton.5 Press ENTER of the control button.The BT MODULE POWER display appears.6 Check that ON is selected, then press ENTER of thecontrol button.The lamp lights.To turn on the lamp of the printer1 Press the MENU button.2 Press V of the control button to display “BluetoothSETTING [>>].”3 Press B of the control button.“Bluetooth ADDR None” appears.4 Press V of the control button to display “MODULEPOWER [>>].”5 Press B of the control button. |
