9USGetting started UPDATE buttonIndicates the status of the unit's softwareupdate. LINK indicatorIndicates the status of the networkconnection of the unit. VOL (volume) –/+ buttonsTap to adjust the volume.The / (on/standby) indicator andreaction indicator flash according to thevolume adjustment when tapped. / (on/standby) button/indicatorTap to turn the power of the unit on andoff. Wi-Fi antennaSet upright during Wi-Fi connection asbelow. Swing the left side of the antennaoutwards. Pull out the antenna. Rotate the antenna 90 degreesclockwise. Bring up the antenna. N-MarkIf your smartphone is NFC-compatible,touch the smartphone on the N-Mark.The unit will turn on automatically andregistering (pairing) and BLUETOOTHconnection can be made. AC IN terminalConnect the AC power cord (supplied). AUDIO IN jackConnect to the headphone jack of aportable audio device, etc., using a audiocable (not supplied). WPS buttonPress and hold when connecting to a Wi-Fi network.Beeps will be heard by pressing andholding the WPS button for 2 seconds,which indicates that the unit is ready toconnect to a wireless router.If your wireless router has a WPS button,you can use this button to connect to thenetwork. LAN portUse a LAN cable (not supplied) toconnect the PC or the wireless router. USB B port ( B)Connect a PC using a USB cable (notsupplied).When connecting a high-resolutionsupported Walkman® or Xperia, use theoptional cable. USB A port ( A)Connect a USB flash drive directly. Whenconnecting to an iPhone/iPad/iPod orWalkman®, use the cable supplied withthe device. Remote sensor/Reaction indicatorWhen the unit receives signals from thesupplied remote control, the reactionindicator (remote sensor) flashes.Also, the indicator flashes according tothe volume adjustment of the unit.To display the function buttonsPlace your hand as illustrated below todisplay the function buttons ( to ).
