The wide bladeor the third prong are provided for your safety.If the provided plug does not fit into youroutlet, consult an electrician for replacementof the obsolete outlet.10) Protect the power cord from being walked onor pinched particularly at plugs, conveniencereceptacles, and the point where they exitfrom the apparatus.11) Only use attachments/accessories specified bythe manufacturer.12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket,or table specified by the manufacturer, or soldwith the apparatus. When a cart is used, usecaution when moving the cart/apparatuscombination to avoid injury from tip-over.13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning stormsor when unused for long periods of time.14) Refer all servicing to qualified servicepersonnel. Since a strong magnet is used for the speaker,keep credit cards using magnetic coding orspring-wound watches, CRT-based TVs, orprojectors, etc., away from the unit to preventpossible damage from the magnet. Do not leave the unit in a location near a heatsource such as a radiator or airduct, or in aplace subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust,mechanical vibration, or shock. Allow adequate air circulation to preventinternal heat build-up. Do not place the unit ona surface (a rug, a blanket, etc.) or nearmaterials (a curtain) which might block theventilation holes. Should any solid object or liquid fall into theunit, unplug the unit and have it checked byqualified personnel before operating it anyfurther. Do not handle the unit with wet hands. Do not place the unit anywhere near water.NOTES ON LITHIUM BATTERY Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure agood contact. Be sure to observe the correct polarity wheninstalling the battery.
