Since a strong magnet is used for the speaker,keep credit cards using magnetic coding orspring-wound watches, CRT-based TVs, orprojectors, etc., away from the unit to preventpossible damage from the magnet. Do not leave the unit in a location near a heatsource such as a radiator or airduct, or in aplace subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust,mechanical vibration, or shock. Allow adequate air circulation to preventinternal heat build-up. Do not place the unit ona surface (a rug, a blanket, etc.) or nearmaterials (a curtain) which might block theventilation holes. Should any solid object or liquid fall into theunit, unplug the unit and have it checked byqualified personnel before operating it anyfurther. Do not handle the unit with wet hands. Make sure the AC power adaptor is connected to the walloutlet firmly.The power does not turn on when the ACpower adaptor is disconnected, or the /button indicator flashes several times andthen the power of the unit turns off. The rechargeable battery may be depleted. In this case,connect to the AC power adaptor to charge the battery.(See “To prepare a power source.”)The rechargeable battery is depleted.
