ˎˎˎˎ1EnglishBefore operating the unit, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it forfuture reference.The projector lamp is designed to be used with the Sony projector. Beforereplacing the lamp, read the Operating Instructions of the projector and makesure that this lamp can be used for your projector.To replace the lamp, refer to the Operating Instructions of the projector.Cautionsˎˎ The lamp becomes a high temperature after turning off the projector with the / key. If you touch the lamp, you may scald your finger. When you replacethe lamp, wait for at least an hour for the lamp to cool.ˎˎ When removing the lamp unit, make sure it remains horizontal. If you pull outthe lamp unit while tilted and if the lamp breaks, the pieces may scatter,causing injury.Notesˎˎ If the lamp breaks, consult with qualified Sony personnel.ˎˎ Please do the following operations after replacing the lamp with a new one. Ifyou don’t so, the message “Please replace the Lamp.” may appear at once afterreplacing the lamp.1 Plug the AC power cord into a wall outlet.2 Turn on the projector, then select Setup menu. The following menuappears.“Settings for lamp replacement.
