The saved file can then be used torecover settings or copied to other e-VTRs.SNMP (Simple Network ManagementProtocol) functionThe SNMP function allows management information onnetwork devices (i.e., the e-VTR) to be monitored fromexternal monitoring software. SNMP settings for each e-VTR on the network can be made through the maintenancescreen of the Web browser.External server link of metadataA meta-data file in an external server can be downloadedand stored with video and audio data as a single MXF fileenabling file transmission. You can thus operate metadataunder external control and video/audio data recorded ontapes in collaboration.Automatic file-system data operations withan external serverInformation regarding the file system is normally stored inthe Tele-File. You can set your e-VTR to write andautomatically read these data to/from an external server.This permits you to specify many files regardless of theTele-File capacity.e-VTR Manager Application SoftwareFunctionsThe supplied e-VTR Manager application software can beinstalled on a computer connected to the e-VTR to enablecontrol of the e-VTR from the computer.The software provides the following functions.MXF file transfers between FTP servers,including the e-VTRThe application can control MXF file transfers between e-VTRs and between e-VTRs and servers, You can registermultiple network devices on a single computer and controlthe devices individually.e-VTR file creation, modification, anddeletionFiles can be created by defining the top and end ofpreviously recorded sections on the tape. These files can bemodified and deleted.e-VTR video and audio monitoringThe contents of video and audio files on the e-VTR can bemonitored in real time on the computer. You can createfiles while checking video and audio.Storage and playback of MXF Proxy AVfilesYou can load MXF Proxy AV files from an e-VTR to alocal disk of your PC.
