21GBGetting StartedThis connection sends a video signal to the TV.Depending on the jacks on your TV, select the connection method.* The HDMI cable is supplied with Singapore, Chinese, and Taiwan models only.Method 1: HDMI cable (A) connectionIf your TV has an HDMI jack, connect to the TV with an HDMI cable. Picture quality will be improvedcompared to using the component video cable connection or the video cord connection.When connecting with the HDMI cable, you need to select the type of output signal (page 56).Method 2: Component video cable (B) connectionIf your TV does not have an HDMI jack, but has component video input jacks, connect to the TV witha component video cable.
