The SCALANCE XB-100 devices are suitable forapplications in industry and building automation for which management via CLI or WBM isnot required.The space-saving plastic housing in IP20 degree of protection is suitable for DIN rail and wallmounting and is intended for installation in a control cabinet. The redundant power supplyand a signaling contact with on-site operation ensure high operational safety. An LED displayprovides information about supply voltage, port status and data traffic. All versions arePROFINET CC-A compliant and can be used in hazardous areas of Zone 2 (ATEX, IECEx).Different port configurations with up to 24 RJ45 ports are available. There are also twomodels available with connections for multimode fiber-optic cables (ST/BFOC or SCinterface).
