The change in temperaturemay cause damage.▶ Never pour water into the cooking compartmentwhen it is still hot.The prolonged presence of moisture in the cookingcompartment leads to corrosion.▶ Always wipe away the condensation after cooking.▶ Do not keep moist food in the cooking compartmentfor a long time with the door closed.▶ Do not store food in the cooking compartment.Leaving the appliance to cool down with the door openwill damage the front of neighbouring kitchen units overtime.▶ Always allow the cooking compartment to cooldown with the door closed after cooking at hightemperatures.▶ Take care not to trap anything in the appliancedoor.▶ Only leave the cooking compartment to dry with thedoor open if a lot of moisture was produced duringoperation.Sitting or placing objects on the appliance door maydamage it.▶ Do not place, hang or support objects on the appli-ance door.2.2 MicrowaveFollow these instructions when using the microwave.ATTENTION!Metal touching the wall of the cooking compartmentwill cause sparks, which may damage the appliance orthe inner door pane.▶ Metal (e.g. a spoon in a glass) must be kept at least2 cm from the cooking compartment walls and theinside of the door.Placing aluminium containers in the appliance maycause sparks, which will damage the appliance.▶ Do not use aluminium containers in the appliance.Operating the appliance without food in the cookingcompartment may lead to overloading.▶ Do not switch on the microwave unless there is foodinside. The only exception to this rule is when per-forming a short cookware test.
