Connecting external devicesInserting a CA CardIn order to receive coded digital stations, a CommonInterface Module (CI Module) and a CA Card must beinserted in the CI slot of the TV (Page 8).The CI Module and the CA Card are not suppliedaccessories. They are usually available from yourdealers.Inserting the CA Card into the CI ModuleWith the side with the gold coloured contactchip facing the side of the CI Module markedwith the provider’s logo, push the CA Cardinto the CI Module as far as it will go. Note thedirection of the arrow printed on the CA Card.Inserting the CI Module in the CI slotCarefully insert the CIModule in the CI slotwith the contact sideforward. The logo onthe CI Module must befacing outward from therear of the TV. Do not useexcessive force.
