39T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G C H A R TThe following situations are normal and are not signs that the oven is malfunctioning.* Check that power plug is connected to a suitable walloutlet. See page 4.* Check that fuse or circuit breaker is functioning properly.If not, correct.* Disconnect the oven from the power source, wait oneminute and then plug into the wall outlet. If the problemexists, consult a Sharp Authorized Servicer.* Open the door and close. Is the oven light off? PressSTART again.* If the display says, "Wait until oven is cool.", be sure towait until it disappears and then press START.The cooking program will be cancelled. Continue to cookwith manual operation. Check food carefully as it cooks.Normal operation to prevent bread dough from drying onthe surface.Oven light lights for maximum 5 minutes when door isopened.Sleep Mode may be ON. Press any pad, turn the Dial oropen/close the door to activate display backlight.
