(See page 13.)2. Make sure the empty drip tray is installed. (See page 13.)3. Place food in the oven unless preheating is needed. (Refer to each chart to check if preheating in required inautomatic operations.)After Cooking1. After the oven has cooled, remove and empty the reservoir, wipe oven cavity, remove and empty the drip tray.2. Perform the Drain Water function at least once a day after using SuperSteam Convection or Steam mode.3. Check that water is not dripping down before removing the drip tray, as a small amount of water drains into the driptray when the reservoir is removed.DRAIN WATER FUNCTIONPerform the Drain Water function at least once a day afterusing SuperSteam Convection or Steam mode. It takesfrom 1 to 8 minutes.Drain Water function is very useful to keep oven clean, toprevent scale build up and the use of stale water. It causesevaporation of the internal steam system.P R O C E D U R E1Make sure the reservoir isremoved and press START.2Press Back/Info,turn the Dial toselect DRAINWATER and pressEnter.After the oven has cooled, remove and emptythe reservoir, wipe oven cavity, remove andempty the drip tray.3NOTE:The reservoir must be removed for the Drain Waterfunction. If the reservoir is not removed, Drain Waterfunction does not start.DESCALE FUNCTIONWhite or gray grains, also called scale, may form inthe water circuit inside the oven during steamgeneration, which could cause the oven to malfunction.When DESCALING NECESSARY is shown in thedisplay, be sure to carry out Descale functionimmediately. It takes about 1 hour.P R O C E D U R E1Citric acid, available at some drugstores, orbottled lemon juice with no pulp are used fordescaling. Choose one and prepare thedescaling solution.To use citric acid, dissolve 1 tablespoon ofcitric acid crystals in 2 1/ 4 cups of water in anon-porous container. Stir well and pour intothe reservoir.To use 100% bottled lemon juice, check thatthere is absolutely no pulp in it. If there is pulpor you are not sure, strain through a finestrainer. Measure 1 /3 cup of the strained lemonjuice and add it to 2 1 / 4 cups of water. Stir welland pour into the reservoir.Place the reservoir in the oven correctly andpush firmly into place.2Set the empty drain tank in baking trayon upper level in the oven.3Do not place any food in the oven.Press START to begin descaling.4Press Back/Info,turn the Dial toselect DESCALEand press Enter.When the oven stops with the audible signal, amessage will appear in the display.Empty the drain tank andreplace. Remove reservoir andrefill with cold tap water up tothe MAX mark.
