76_ troubleshootingtroubleshootingtrouBLeSHootiNGSamsung works hard to ensure that you don’t have problems with your new gas range.If you experience a problem, look first for a solution in the table below. If, after trying thesuggested solution, you’re still having trouble, call Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864).PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTIONyou smell gas. There is a gas leak.The surface burner knob is not inthe ‘off’ position, yet the burneritself is not ignited.Clear the room, building, or areaof all occupants.Immediately call your gassupplier from a neighbor’sphone. Do not call from yourphone. It is electrical andcould cause a spark that couldignite the gas. Follow the gassupplier’s instructions.If you cannot reach your gassupplier, call the fire department.the range is not level. The appliance has been installedimproperly.The leveling leg(s) is (are)damaged or uneven.Make sure the floor is level,strong, and stable. If the floorsags or slopes, contact acarpenter.Check and level the range. (Seethe Installation Instructions.)The kitchen cabinets are notproperly aligned and make therange appear to be not level.Ensure that cabinets are squareand provide sufficient room forinstallation.the oven control beepsand displays an errorcode.You have a function error code.See the “Troubleshooting andinformation codes” chart onpage 76.Press the OFF/CLEAR pad andrestart the oven. If the problempersists, disconnect all power tothe range for at least 30 secondsand then reconnect the power. Ifthis does not solve the problem,call for service.All burners do not light.
