English - 27PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTIONDoes not drydishes well.There is no rinse aid in thedispenser.Check the dispenser and add rinse aid.Use a liquid type rinse aid.The temperature of the wateris low when the dishwasher isrunning.Connect the water supply line to a hot watersupply.Use rinse aid with the Sanitize option.Too many dishes have beenloaded.Proper loading of items can affect drying.Load your dishes as recommended.(See page 17.)Glasses and cups withconcave bottoms hold water.This water may spill onto otheritems when unloading.After finishing the cycle, empty the lower rackfi rst and then the upper rack. This will preventwater dripping from the upper rack onto thedishes in the lower rack.Has a bad odor.Water was left over from anincomplete cycle.Insert detergent without loading dishes, and runthe Normal cycle to clean the dishwasher.The Drain Hose is obstructed. Contact a qualifi ed service technician to removeany obstruction from the drain hose.The dishwasher is not useddaily or soiled dishes are left inunit too long.With the dishwasher empty and no detergent,place a glass with 8 ounces of vinegar uprightinto the lower rack, and then run a Normal cycle.Is too noisy.Sound is generated when thedispenser cover is open andthe drain pump is operating inan early stage.This is normal operation.The dishwasher is not level. Ensure the dishwasher is level.Foreign material (a screw, aplastic piece) is in the pumpchamber.Contact a qualifi ed service technician to removeforeign material from the pump chamber.There is a ‘chopping’ soundbecause a nozzle is bumpingagainst the dishes.Rearrange the dishes.Does not have asmoothly rotatingnozzle.The nozzle hole is cloggedwith food particles.Clean the nozzle hole.See pages 22 and 23.The nozzle is blocked by adish or pot and cannot rotate.After placing the dishes into the racks, rotate thenozzles by hand to check whether any of thedishes interfere with them.Water won’tpump out of thedishwasher.The drain is clogged. Contact a qualifi ed service technician to removeany obstruction from the drain hose and drainhole inside the sump.
