14 Phone BasicsWarning: After initiating a 911 call, you must end the call by pressing .This notifies the phone that the 911 call was terminated intentionally by the user.No other calls can be made before terminating the 911 call.In-Call OptionsDuring a call, use the left softkey to Mute or Unmute your phone’smicrophone. Additional actions are available by pressing the right softkey forOptions during a call. A list of options is displayed that allows you to performdifferent actions during the course of a call. The following options are available: (Toselect an option, press the corresponding keypad number or highlight the optionand press .)• (1) Speaker On or Speaker Off: Allows you turn the speakerphone on andoff. You will see the message “Entering speaker mode” when you turn thespeakerphone on. To turn off the speaker phone, press Speaker Off. Youwill see the message “Exit speaker mode”.• (2) Key Mute or Key Unmute: Allows you to mute or reactivate your phone’skey tones.• (3) Contacts: Accesses information on the Contact if they are in yourphonebook.• (4) Messaging: Allows you to use the messaging menu and to send textmessages.• (5) 3-Way Call: Allows you to talk to two different people at the same time.(For more information, see "Making a Three-Way Call" on page 21.)• (6) Call History: Checks your call log for Missed, Outgoing, and Incomingcalls. You can also erase the logs, see Recent Calls, and check Air Timefrom this menu.• (7) Voice Memo: Allows you to record the current conversation.
