Page 58 of 1315.7.1.3 USB NMEA DeviceWhen using a NMEA device that supports a USB connection, you must use a USB hub (either1.0 or 2.0) plugged into the Optimizer's USB port to accomodate multiple USB devices.Plug the small USB drive that came with the Optimizer into one of the USB Hub ports, connectthe NMEA device to the USB Hub with an appropriate USB to NMEA device cable as indicatedby the NMEA device manufacturer.(OPTIONAL: Use an ethernet cable to connect the computer with the destination software, likea navigation program, to one of the Optimizer's Ethernet ports.)The Optimizer will broadcast the GPS signal both over Ethernet and WiFi, so you can connectyour computer either way in order to establish a successful connection with your destinationsoftware.
