8REMKO PWLElectrical connections of the unitmust only be established by autho-rised specialists in compliance withthe applicable regulations of thelocal electricity supply company aswell as the VDE installation requi-rements relating to the unit.Connection of the unitsThe units are fitted with two-speed, 400V three-phase axialflow fans as standard.Speed selection takes place withappropriate control units (accesso-ry).Changes in direction take place viaa pole changing switch or specialcontrol unit (accessory).Motor protection is provided viaintegrated thermal contacts inconjunction with a suitable controlunit (accessory).Connection of the three-phasemotors to the respective controlunits takes place via the associatedelectrical wiring diagrams.ATTENTIONFailure to observe the pertinentrequirements, operating inst-ructions and electrical wiringdiagrams relating to the unitcan give rise to malfunctionswith consequential damage.This will invalidate the war-ranty!Connection of several unitsIf necessary, several units (alsodifferent sizes) can be operatedparallel via a control unit (accesso-ry).The total capacity of the con-nected units must not exceed themaximum switching capacity ofthe respective control unit.For thermal motor protection, thethermal contacts of all motorsmust be connected in series.
