26HDD1HDD2FORMATUSEUSE FORMATFORMAT buttonb Hold down the [USE] button for 2 seconds ormore respective to the new hard disk.→ The buzzer will start sounding and the selectedhard disk will be mounted. (The button will startblinking orange.)When mounting of the hard disk is complete, thebutton will start blinking green.Note:When the write protection for the hard disk is on, thewrite protection indicator will light after completingmounting the hard disk.n Hold down the [FORMAT] button respective tothe newly inserted hard disk for 5 seconds ormore.→ The buzzer will start sounding and formatting ofthe hard disk will start. (The button will start blink-ing green.)When formatting of the hard disk is complete, thebutton will go off and the respective [USE] buttonwill light green.Notes:• Once the hard disk is removed, it is impossible torecord on this hard disk even after inserting the harddisk again. Only playback is available.To record on this hard disk, format it with this unit again.(Refer to the setup instructions (PDF) for further infor-mation.)• It is impossible to format a hard disk when the write pro-tection is on for it.• Refer to the operating instructions (PDF) for how tooperate the mirroring function.m Close the front cover and turn the key counter-clockwise to lock the panel., Check the contents of the hard disk.→ It is possible to check the following relating to thehard disk on the "Disk Information" page of"Maintenance".
