Do not pull out your drivewhile playing a file.You can use USB hubs with your TV’s USB inputs.External power supplied USB hubs are recommendedin such a case.It is recommended to use the TV’s USB input(s)directly, if you are going to connect a USB hard disk.Note: When viewing image files the Media Browser menucan only display 1000 image files stored on the connectedUSB device.Media BrowserYou can play back music and movie files and displayphoto files stored on a USB storage device byconnecting it to your TV. Connect a USB storage deviceto one of the USB inputs located on the side of the TV.After connecting a USB storage device to your TVMedia Browser menu will be displayed on the screen.You can access the content of the connected USBdevice any time later from the Sources menu. Selectthe related USB input option from this menu and pressOK. Then select the file of your choice and press OKto display or play it back.You can set your Media Browser preferences by usingthe Settings menu. Settings menu can be accessedvia the information bar which is displayed on thebottom of the screen when pressed the Info buttonwhile playing back a video file or displaying a picturefile. Press the Info button, highlight the gear wheelsymbol positioned on the right side of the informationbar and press OK. Picture Settings, Sound Settings,Media Browser Settings and Options menus will beavailable. The contents of these menus may changeaccording to the type of the currently open media file.Only Sound Settings menu will be available whileplaying back audio files.Loop/Shuffle Mode OperationStart playback and activateAll files in the list will becontinuously played inoriginal orderStart playback and activateThe same file will beplayed continuously(repeat)Start playback and activateAll files in the list will beplayed once in randomorderStart playback and activate ,All files in the list will becontinuously played inthe same random orderTo use the functions on the information bar highlight thesymbol of the function and press OK. To change thestatus of a function highlight the symbol of the functionand press OK as much as needed. If the symbol ismarked with a red cross, that means it is deactivated.CECThis function allows to control the CEC-enableddevices, that are connected through HDMI ports byusing the remote control of the TV.The CEC option in the Settings>System>More menushould be set as Enabled at first. Press the Sourcebutton and select the HDMI input of the connectedCEC device from the Sources List menu. Whennew CEC source device is connected, it will be listedin source menu with its own name instead of theconnected HDMI ports name(such as DVD Player,Recorder 1 etc.).The TV remote is automatically able to perform themain functions after the connected HDMI source hasbeen selected. To terminate this operation and controlthe TV via the remote again, press and hold the “0-Zero” button on the remote control for 3 seconds.You can disable the CEC functionality by setting therelated option under the Settings>System>Moremenu accordingly.The TV supports ARC (Audio Return Channel). Thisfeature is an audio link meant to replace other cablesbetween the TV and an audio system (A/V receiver orspeaker system).When ARC is active, the TV does not mute its otheraudio outputs automatically. You will need to decreaseTV volume to zero manually if you wish to hear theARC audio only (same as optical or co-axial digitalaudio outputs). If you want to change connecteddevice’s volume level, you should select that devicefrom the source list. In that case volume control keysare directed to connected audio device.Note: ARC is supported only via the HDMI1 input.System Audio ControlAllows an Audio Amplifier/Receiver to be used withthe TV. The volume can be controlled using theremote control of the TV. To activate this feature setthe Speakers option in the Settings>System>Moremenu as Amplifier. The TV speakers will be mutedand the sound of the watched source will be providedfrom the connected sound system.Note: The audio device should support System Audio Controlfeature and CEC option should be set as Enabled.
