When viewing analogue pictures, interferencesuch as signal reflection from nearby buildings or mountainscauses ‘ghosting’, but still provides a viewable picture. Forthe DVB system, interference such as this can disrupt theflow of data causing the picture to appear to be made upof large blocks, or to freeze intermittently. If the picturedisappears completely, this could mean that signal qualityis very poor.
