The KX-HGW200 is preset to assign a local IPaddress to each computer in a home network using the DHCP serverfunction. This type of network is called as dynamic IP network.By disabling the KX-HGW200 DHCP server function and specifying aunique IP address for each computer in the home network, a static IPnetwork can be created.When the local IP address of a computer in your home network has toalways be fixed, you need to set the static IP network parameters.To set up the KX-HGW200 for a static IP network, see p. 33 and disablethe DHCP server function in the Additional Setup screen.
