88RQT9433Rec for High Speed CopyYou can copy a programme recorded in XP, SP, LP, EP or FRmode on the HDD from the HDD to DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW (DVD-Video format), +R, +R DL and +RW using high speedmode. However, screen size, etc. is restricted (➡ below).We recommend turning the setting “Off” if high speed copy toDVD-R, etc. is not necessary when recording a programme.This setting is valid for the following cases:– Recording from an external equipment (including DVequipment)– Copying from a fi nalised DVD-Video disc.[On] You can high-speed copy to DVD-R, etc. Press[w, q] to select “Yes” and press [OK].y The following restrictions are applied torecorded titles.– Recordings are made using the aspect ratioset in “Aspect for Recording” (➡ 87).– Select the type of audio in advance from“Bilingual Audio Selection” (➡ 89).– You are no longer able to switch the audiowhen watching a programme on an inputchannel on the TV connected to this unit.[Off]NoteTitles recorded in XP, SP, LP, EP, FR mode on HDD cannot becopied to BD-RE or BD-R using high speed mode, regardless ofthe above setting.BD/DVD Speed for High Speed Copy(When selecting this item and press [OK], the title “Blu-ray Disc/DVD Speed for High Speed Copy” is displayed.)Select the speed of high-speed copying (When using high-speedcopy compatible discs).[Maximum][Normal (Silent)] The noise generated by this unit is lessthan when “Maximum” is selected,however the time required for copying willdouble (approximately).HDD Managementy Press and hold [OK] for 3 seconds to show the followingsettings.Delete all titlesDelete all titles in HDD.y Delete does not work if one or more titles are protected.Format HDDFormat of the HDD is performed.Picture(All factory default settings are indicated with underlined text.)Still ModeSelect the type of picture shown when you pause play (➡ 118,Frames and fi elds).[Automatic][Field] Select if jittering occurs when “Automatic” isselected.
