Getting startedSQT080222SettingsThe tuner in this unit is compatible with digitalCable broadcast services and digital terrestrialbroadcast services.• In these operating instructions,[DVB-C] : indicates features applicable to digitalcable broadcasts (DVB-C).[DVB-T] : indicates features applicable to digitalterrestrial broadcasts (DVB-T).• This unit can receive only one of the twoservices at a time.1 Turn on the TV, then select the appropriateAV input to suit the connections to this unit.3 Select language, then press [OK].4 Select country, then press [OK].5 Select “Digital Cable (DVB-C) Channels” or“Digital Terrestrial (DVB-T) Channels”, thenpress [OK].8 Set Quick Start to “On”, “Off” or “TimerSetting for Quick Start”, then press [OK].9 Select the item to match the type of TVconnected. (> 93, TV Aspect)When “Easy Setting has been completed.”appears, Easy Setting is complete.To stop partwayPress [RETURN ].To restart setup or change TV signal type(> 86, Auto Setup)To confirm that channels have been tunedcorrectly (> 29, Using Channel List)• If tuning is cancelled partway through, it may not bepossible to receive the channels. Restart setup again.[BCT950] Easy Setting2 Press [Í] on the remote control or [Í/I] onthis unit.• The Easy Setting will start at the initialpower on.1 [DVB-C]Select the channel number allocation,then press [OK].• For Germany and Austria:Normally set to “Preset ChannelNumber”.• For Switzerland:Normally set to “Operator’s ChannelNumber ( LCN )”.• To change channel allocation, restart Auto Setupin Basic Settings menu and change channelnumber allocation selection. (> 86)• If channel is not found, restart Auto Setup in BasicSettings menu. (> 86)2 [DVB-C]Select “Start Auto Setup”, then press[OK].• FrequencyAutoThe preset frequency will beautomatically used.ManualEnter the frequency specified by yourcable provider with number buttons.• Network IDAutoThe preset Network ID will beautomatically used.ManualEnter the Network ID specified by yourcable provider with number buttons.• Frequency and Network ID settings may benecessary depending on the cable provider. Fordetails, consult the cable provider.6 Auto Setup will start automatically.(This operation may take some time.)[DVB-C]When tuning is completed, press [OK].7 Clock will be set automatically.If the clock setting screen appears, set thetime manually (> 97, Clock). |
