INSTALLATION | Commissioning982000-AIR-M2-M4-EN03.1 | www.ochsner.com 3911. CommissioningOCHSNER Customer Service or an authorised custom-er service partner must be requested to commission thesystem. In order to be allocated an appointment, a com-pleted and signed commissioning form must be provided.Commissioning appointments must be requested at leasttwo weeks in advance.11.1 Before switching on for the first timeThe heat pump has no separate on/off switch. In an emer-gency, the system must be shut down via the specifiedsafety equipment. The safety equipment must be acces-sible so that an emergency shutdown can be performedat any time.WARNING: ElectrocutionFirst-time start-up of electrical systems is permittedonly in the presence of a qualified contractor.» Make sure that no persons can be put at risk duringthe first start-up.» Make sure that the heat sink system (heating andDHW production) has been connected to the heatpump.» Make sure that the hydraulic system is filled withwater.» Make sure that the system has been fully vented.» Make sure that the electrical installation has beencarried out and completed professionally.Material damageOperating the circulation pumps without water inthe system will destroy the pumps. The power supply to the main power circuit (compressor)must not be switched on until the refrigerant circuit hasbeen filled with refrigerant and the hydraulic system withthe correct medium.11.2 Testing the control circuitOnce all the above conditions have been checked, the pow-er supply to the control circuit (OTE controller, 230 VAC)can be switched on so that the individual functions canbe tested.» Check all of the sensors and their values forplausibility.» Check all of the controller outputs used on your hy-draulic system for correct function.11.3 Adjusting the flow rateThe nominal flow rate of the heat sink system must bedetermined in each operating mode (DHW charging, heat-ing, cooling mode via separate cooling heat pump buffertanks etc.). The flow rate is measured using the installedflow meter. The measured values can be read off from themaster controller display on the indoor unit. The flow rate of the heat sink system is adjusted using theadjusting screw on the heat generator pump (HGP). Toenable correct hydraulic adjustment, in particular duringcombined heating or heating/cooling and DHW heatingmodes, the appropriate balancing valves must be installedand the system regulated accordingly.11_02_200_202_01_02211 Heat generator pump (HGP)i InformationTo be able to change the flow rate in the heat sinksystem, you will have to turn the adjusting screwon the heat generator pump.» Remove the front casing panel from the indoorunit to gain access to the heat generator pump(see „Disassembling the appliance casing“ onpage 26).» Switch on the heat generator pump via the relay testmenu on the master controller.
