The appliance will rinse au-tomatically unless it is still warm from thelast use. The appliance is ready for usewhen the drink selection menu is shown inthe display (3). Press the navigation buttonin the required direction to enter or changesettings (e.g. coffee strength or per-cupquantity).5 Z: This button is used to navigatedownwards in the display (3). The current-ly active menu item is shown in a largerfont.6 Start/Stop z : This button is used tostart drink preparation or to start a serviceprogramme.Press z (6) again during drink prepara-tion to stop the dispensing process.Deployment systemThe appliance can be pulled out of the built-in unit automatically. To do this,X press deployment button (16) (appliancemust be switched on for this) or16X remove grate and pull on the handle un-derneath which is now accessible:The appliance now moves automatically intodeployment position 1. In this position it canbe filled with water, coffee beans, groundcoffee and cleaning / descaling tablets, andthe accessories on the right of the appliancecan be removed.To pull the appliance out fully,X press deployment button (16) again andpull the appliance out by hand into posi-tion 2 orX pull the appliance out fully by the handle.In deployment position 2 the brewing unitcan be removed and the grinding unitadjusted.Deployment Deploymentposition 1 position 2Then push the appliance back fully into thebuilt-in unit.During the brewing process, auto-matic deployment is prevented.
