Mounting on wall or ceilingis the customer’s responsibility. Not all walls or ceilings arecapable of supporting the weight of the unit. Product warrantydoes not cover damage caused by improper installation,remodelling, or natural disasters. Failure to comply with theserecommendations could result in voiding the warranty.DO NOT block ventilated openings with mountingaccessories or other accessories.For NEC Qualified Personnel:To ensure safe installation, use two or more brackets tomount the unit. Mount the unit to at least two points on theinstallation location.Please note the following when mountingon wall or ceiling• When using mounting accessories other than those thatare NEC approved, they must comply with the VESA-compatible (FDMlv1) mounting method.• NEC recommends mounting interfaces that comply withUL1678 standard in North America.• NEC strongly recommendsusing size M8 screws(15-17 mm + thicknessof bracket in length).If using screws longerthan 15-17 mm, checkthe depth of the hole.(Recommended Fasten Force:1125 - 1375N•cm) Bracket holeshould be under 10.0 mm.• Prior to mounting, inspect the installation location toinsure that it is strong enough to support the weight of theunit so that the unit will be safe from harm.• Refer to the instructions included with the mountingequipment for detailed information.• Make sure there is no gap between the monitor and thebracket.InstallationOrientation• When using the display in the portrait position, themonitor should be rotated clockwise so that the left sideis moved to the top and the LED indicator light is onthe bottom. This will allow for proper ventilation and willextend the lifetime of the monitor.
