Using a power source with voltageless than the nameplate rating is harmful to the motor.Use of Extension CordIf the extension cord is intended to be used outdoors, the cordshall be marked with the suffix W-A following the cord typedesignation, for example - SJTW-A, to indicate it is accept-able for outdoor use. Use an extension cord heavy enoughto carry the current the tool will draw. Undersized cord willcause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power andover-heating. Make sure the extension cord is in good condi-tion before using. Keep the cord away from the cutting areaand to position cord so that it will not be caught on branches, and the like, during cutting.
