Page 16PROBLEMMotor willnot run.(con’t)Regulatorknob hascontinuousair leak.Regulatorwill notshut off atair outlet.CAUSE• Check valve isstuck open.• Loose electricalconnections.• Possibledefectivecapacitor.• Paint spray oninternal motorparts.• Possibledefectivemotor.• Fuse Blown,circuit breakertripped.• Pressureunloader valveon pressureswitch has notunloaded headpressure.Dirty or damagedregulator internalparts.CORRECTION• Remove and clean, or replace.• Check wiring connection insidepressure switch and terminal boxarea.• Return to an Authorized WarrantyService Center for inspection orreplacement if necessary.• Have checked at an AuthorizedWarranty Service Center. Do notoperate the compressor in the paintspray area. See flammable vaporwarning.• Have checked at an AuthorizedWarranty Service Center.1.Check fuse box for blown fuse andreplace. If necessary, reset circuitbreaker. Do not use a fuse or circuitbreaker with higher rating thanspecified for your particular branchcircuit.2.Check for low voltage conditionsand/or proper extension cord.3.Disconnect the other electricalappliances from circuit or operatethe compressor on its own branchcircuit.• Bleed the line by pushing the leveron the pressure switch to the "off"position; if the valve does not open,replace it.Replace regulator.
