19 ENGLISHLoading objects1. Do not overload objects. When loadingobjects, be sure to follow the instructions andload limits in the manual.2. Since the larger the load, the more difficult itis to operate the machine, keep the load withinthe range that does not affect the operation.3. Firmly secure the objects with ropes.4. Load the objects within the carrier or bucket.If the objects protrude from the carrier or bucket,there is a risk of accidents due to the objectsfalling or contact obstacles such as walls.5. Be sure that loaded objects are below eyelevel. If the load is too high, it is dangerousbecause the view is obscured. Also, there is a riskof overturning and injury because the load is likelyto be unbalanced.6. Load the objects on the carrier or bucketevenly. If the objects are loaded unevenly, there isa risk of overturning and injury because the load islikely to be unbalanced.7. Before loading the objects or operating themachine, make sure that the handle of thedump unit is fully pulled down and completelylocked.8. Be sure to load heavy objects first to keepbalance.9. Do not extend the front and side rails on steepslopes. Extend the side rails when lightweightobjects are loaded.10. When extending the front and side rails, do notextend them over the extension limit. Be sureto extend the side rails so that the right andleft sides are the same length, and load objectsevenly.11. Load and unload objects on flat ground. Neverload or unload objects on slope.12. When lifting and tilting the carrier or bucket,hold the handles and frame firmly, and work ina stable posture.Transportation of machine1. Use the ladder rails that are at least 4 timesas long as the height of the truck bed, withfixtures suitable for the bed, with a non-slipsurface and sufficient width, and capable ofwithstanding the weight of the machine andoperator. Read the instruction manual of theladder rails carefully before use.2. Before loading the machine, unload all objectsfrom the machine and remove mud and otherdebris from the tires. Install the ladder rails ona flat and stable surface.3. Before loading or unloading the machine,make sure that there are no people around themachine and the ladder rails. Load or unloadthe machine at low speed, taking care to pre-vent the machine from falling off the ladderrails, and not to hit your head on the ceiling ofthe truck. Use extreme caution when loadingor unloading the machine backward.4. When transporting the machine, lock the brakelever, turn the power off, remove the batteriesand lock key, and fix the machine securely.Maintenance and storage1. Before storage or attempting to performinspections or maintenance, always be sureto stop the machine on flat ground and lockthe brake lever, and turn off the machine, andremove the lock key and battery cartridges.2. Do not leave the machine unattended outdoorsin the rain.3. When storing the machine, avoid direct sun-light and rain, and store it in a place where itdoes not get hot or humid.4. This machine is equipped with a hydraulicunit on the underside of the dump unit to auto-matically tilt the dump unit. Do not modify thehydraulic unit, or do not loosen the mountingbolts of the unit or the adjustment screws ofthe relief valve. It is very dangerous as it maycause accidents or malfunctions.Battery tool use and care1. Recharge only with the charger specified bythe manufacturer. A charger that is suitable forone type of battery pack may create a risk of firewhen used with another battery pack.2. Use power tools only with specifically desig-nated battery packs. Use of any other batterypacks may create a risk of injury and fire.3. When battery pack is not in use, keep it awayfrom other metal objects, like paper clips,coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metalobjects, that can make a connection from oneterminal to another. Shorting the battery termi-nals together may cause burns or a fire.4. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejectedfrom the battery; avoid contact. If contact acci-dentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid con-tacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquidejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.5. Do not use a battery pack or tool that is dam-aged or modified. Damaged or modified batteriesmay exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting infire, explosion or risk of injury.6. Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire orexcessive temperature. Exposure to fire or tem-perature above 130 °C may cause explosion.7. Follow all charging instructions and do notcharge the battery pack or tool outside thetemperature range specified in the instruc-tions. Charging improperly or at temperaturesoutside the specified range may damage thebattery and increase the risk of fire.Electrical and battery safety1. Do not dispose of the battery(ies) in a fire.The cell may explode. Check with local codes forpossible special disposal instructions.2. Do not open or mutilate the battery(ies).Released electrolyte is corrosive and may causedamage to the eyes or skin. It may be toxic ifswallowed.3. Do not charge battery in rain, or in wetlocations.4. Do not charge the battery outdoors.5. Do not handle charger, including charger plug,and charger terminals with wet hands.6. Do not replace the battery in the rain.
