15 ENGLISH8. When leaving the machine unattended, setparking brake once the machine is located in asafe stopping area. The parking brake preventsunwanted movement of the front wheel and canimprove stability.9. Ensure that ramps are clean, strong andsecure. In order to reduce the risk of injury, allramps must be clear of loose debris and strongenough to withstand the weight of anticipatedloads that will be moved over them. They musthave adequate blocking underneath and to bothsides to eliminate deflections and side-to-sidemovement under load. All ramps must be wideenough to have sure footing while hauling loadsacross them.10. Ensure the hopper is down and hoppersand dump-gates are securely latched whennot dumping the load and when storing themachine. Unlatched hoppers or dump-gates canunexpectedly open or shift.11. Avoid extending ramps without toe boardsor railings over open spaces. Elevated openspaces and open trenches invite accidental fallsand increase the potential for serious injury. Usetoe boards or railings on ramps over open spacesto prevent driving the machine off the ramp.12. Ensure all locking screws are tightly securebefore using. Locking screws on the rear wheelsand open-type carrier front and side walls must besecure to prevent unwanted movement of theseadjustable parts of the machine.13. Never operate the machine in an overloadedcondition. Make sure the machine has the propercapacity rating for the objects or materials thathave to be hauled. Excessive loads will makethe machine more difficult to maneuver and stop,will increase stopping time and distance, and willincrease the risk of instability.14. Never operate your machine in an over stackedcondition. Stacking material above the tray rim orover the sides of the tray can cause the machineto be uncontrollably out of balance and control.15. Use containers and tie-downs to secure loads.Loose and/or insecure loads are more likelyto shift which can result in loss of stability andcontrol.16. Always maintain a firm grip on handles. Loss ofcontrol can increase the risk of personal injury.17. Remove safety key when not in use. The safetykey prevents unwanted, powered use of themachine, such as by children or other untrainedor unauthorized persons. Without the key, electricpower cannot be turned “on”.18. This machine cannot be used on public roads.Use of the wheelbarrow on a public road is unlaw-ful and could result in local jurisdiction penalties inaddition it could result in personal injury.19. Use a sturdy plate with anti-slip and detach-ment prevention function when loading and/or unloading this machine for transportation,or moving this machine between differentlevels. Make sure the plate inclination does notexceed 12°, and operate the machine slowlyand carefully. Unstable and quick operationmay result in overturn and/or falling.20. Do not disassemble, repair, or modify thismachine.Operation1. When operating the machine, stand behind themachine and hold the handles firmly.2. Do not operate the machine while riding on themachine.3. Do not allow others to ride on the machine.4. When operating the machine in reverse andwalking backward, watch behind you and becareful not to slip or trip.5. Do not use the machine when visibility is poorbecause there is a risk of striking obstacles.6. When operating the machine on rough ground,decrease speed and exercise caution.7. When using the machine, avoid soft groundto prevent overturn due to the shoulder of theroad collapsing.8. Do not operate the machine on upward slopesgreater than 12°.9. If you find an abnormality, stop the machineon flat ground. Before inspecting the machine,pull the brake lever and lock the brake, andthen turn the power off.10. Before operating the machine, make sure thatthe lock lever is fully pulled down and com-pletely locked. If the lock is incomplete, there isa risk of accident or injury as the carrier or bucketmay be tilted and the objects fall when goingdownhill.11. Be careful not to entangle the cords with theload or obstacles.Operation on slopes1. Do not cross on slopes.2. Be sure to decrease speed and exercisecaution.3. Exercise caution when starting or stopping themachine on slopes.4. As the loads become less stable on slopes,firmly secure the loads with ropes.5. As the machine becomes unstable dependingon the condition of the road, keep the load to aminimum.6. As the view is obscured on slopes, keep theheight of the load to a minimum.7. Never park the machine on steep slopes. Parkthe machine on flat ground, pull the brakelever and lock the brake, and then turn thepower off.8. Do not change the direction or speed mode onsteep slopes.9. Do not release the switch trigger on upwardslopes. The machine may go in reverse andcause an accident.10. Make sure that the remaining battery capacityis enough before operating on slopes. If theremaining battery capacity is not enough,charge the battery or replace it with a chargedone.
