Use the USB repair shimStep 1. Press the power button together with the recover button. The Chrome operating system recoveryscreen is displayed. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the developer mode.Step 2. Remove the base cover assembly, lock the write Protect screw from the system board, and thenattach the ac power adapter to the Meet Compute System.Step 3. Connect the prepared USB storage drive to the Meet Compute System and after the operatingsystem verification screen is displayed. Press Ctrl + U.Step 4. Type I in the window prompted to install the shim image.Step 5. Remove write Protect screw from the system board.Step 6. The Meet Compute System will enter the factory-test-image environment after the process iscompleted.Step 7. Remove the USB repair shim from the Meet Compute System and store it in a safe place.Step 8. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the FFT.Note: If the FFT detects a defective component, turn off the Meet Compute System, detach the acpower adapter, and then replace the defective component.Step 9. Start the RunIn and FAT (This is an optional operation.)Step 10. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the GRT. If the tests finish successfully, all data stored onthe Meet Compute System is deleted and the Meet Compute System is turned off.
