9NOTE: If using a flexible braided hose, replace inlet hose after5 years to reduce the risk of hose failure. Record hose installationor replacement dates on the hose for future reference.Attach the water supply line (copper tubing or flexible braided line)to the hot water line using a connection configuration that is incompliance with local codes and ordinances. The water supply tothe dishwasher should have a manual shutoff valve located underthe sink.Slowly route water supply line through hole in cabinet. (If you areusing copper tubing, it will bend and kink easily, so be gentle.) Itshould be far enough into the cabinet opening to connect it to thedishwasher inlet on the front left side of the dishwasher.Slowly turn water shutoff valve to “ON” position. Flush water intoa shallow pan until clear to get rid of particles that could clog theinlet valve. Turn shutoff valve to “OFF” position.Route water line and tape it to the floor in area shown. This willkeep it from moving when dishwasher is moved into cabinetopening.Install Drain HoseIMPORTANT: Always use a new drain hose. Check local codes todetermine whether an air gap is required.If needed, drill a 1¹⁄₂" (3.8 cm) diameter hole in cabinet wall or sideof the opening closest to the sink.Route drain hose, as shown, through hole in cabinet to the frontcenter of opening where drain connection will be made. Tapedrain hose to the floor in area shown. This will prohibit it frommoving when dishwasher is moved into cabinet opening.
