19Getting Started with the Spectrum Analyzer Measurement ApplicationAccessories AvailableAC probe (low frequency)The Keysight 41800A low frequency probe has a low input capacitance and afrequency range of 5 Hz to 500 MHz.Broadband preamplifiers and power amplifiersPreamplifiers and power amplifiers can be used with your signal analyzer to enhancemeasurements of very low-level signals.• The Keysight 8447D preamplifier provides a minimum of 25 dB gain from 100kHz to 1.3 GHz.• The Keysight 87405A preamplifier provides a minimum of 22 dB gain from 10MHz to 3 GHz. (Power is supplied by the probe power output of the analyzer.)• The Keysight 83006A preamplifier provides a minimum of 26 dB gain from 10MHz to 26.5 GHz.• The Keysight 85905A CATV 75 ohm preamplifier provides a minimum of 18 dBgain from 45 MHz to 1 GHz. (Power is supplied by the probe power output of theanalyzer.)• The 11909A low noise preamplifier provides a minimum of 32 dB gain from 9kHz to 1 GHz and a typical noise figure of 1.8 dB.GPIB cableThe Keysight 10833 Series GPIB cables interconnect GPIB devices and are availablein four different lengths (0.5 to 4 meters). GPIB cables are used to connectcontrollers to a signal analyzer.USB/GPIB cableThe Keysight 82357A USB/GPIB interface provides a direct connection from theUSB port on your laptop or desktop PC to GPIB instruments. It comes with the SICLand VISA software for Windows® 2000/XP. Using VISA software, your existingGPIB programs work immediately, without modification. The 82357A is a standardPlug and Play device and you can interface with up to 14 GPIB instruments.RF and Transient LimitersThe Keysight 11867A and N9355B RF and Microwave Limiters protect the analyzerinput circuits from damage due to high power levels. The N9355B operates over afrequency range of dc to 1800 MHz and begins reflecting signal levels over 1 mW upto 10 W average power and 100 watts peak power. The 11693A microwave limiter(0.1 to 18 GHz) guards against input signals over 10 milliwatt up to 1 watt averagepower.
