The Certificate of Calibrationthat is provided with each mixer lists the conversion loss measured at the factory.LO adjustmentThe LO adjustment will run each time the USB connection is made, and if the signalanalyzer Alignments are set to Normal, the LO adjustment will be performed basedon time and temperature rules similar to the other signal analyzer alignments. Boththe mixer and the spectrum analyzer temperature sensors are monitored by thealignment algorithm. If the Alignment is set to OFF, the LO Alignment will not beperformed based on time and temperature, and it will be necessary for the user todetermine when to perform alignments.To manually trigger an LO alignment from the front panel, press System,Alignments, Align Now, External Mixer.3 With wide spans, increasingthe number of sweep pointsmay improve the effectivenessof image suppressing.a.
