Calibrator Output Operations 2Keysight U1401B User’s and Service Guide 51Defining the autoscan parameters in the memoryPress and hold MODE for more than one second to enter the autoscan adjustmentmode. A total of 16 steps with individually definable time interval and amplitudeare available. When the instrument is in the autoscan adjustment mode, the secondary displayshows the amplitude. The first two digits of the primary display are used toindicate which step is being adjusted. The last two digits of the primary displayare used to indicate time interval.1 Press MODE to cycle through step, time interval, and amplitude adjustments. The digit to be adjusted will flash on the display.– For amplitude adjustment, press and to select the digit to beadjusted, and then press and to adjust the value of the selecteddigit. The amplitude can be set to any value within the selected outputrange (±1.5 V or ±15 V for constant voltage output, ±25 mA for constantcurrent output).– For time interval adjustment, press and to select the digit to beadjusted, and then press and to adjust the value of the selecteddigit. The time interval can be set within the range of 0 to 99 seconds.– Press for more than one second to directly reset the time interval andamplitude of the present step to zero.
