Always keep the Water Reservoir Cover onthe Water Reservoir unless you are refilling it.18. This appliance is equipped with a powercord having a grounding wire with agrounding plug. The appliance must begrounded using a 3-hole properly groundedoutlet. In the event of an electrical shortcircuit, grounding reduces the risk ofelectrical shock.19. If the outlet is a standard 2-prong walloutlet, it is your personal responsibilityand obligation to have it replaced with aproperly grounded 3-prong wall outlet.20. Do not, under any circumstances, cut orremove the third (ground) prong fromthe power cord or use an adapter.21.
