It is a wear part with a two-year warranty. As itspower output is higher, wear parts such as the tyres andbrakes are subject to higher loads than they would be on anormal bike. Due to the greater force acting on these com-ponents, wear is more pronounced.7.6.2 of the batteryBatteries are wear parts. Wear parts come with a two-yearwarranty.If the battery develops a fault during this period, yourspecialist cycle shop will of course replace it. Normal age-ing and battery wear do not constitute a fault.The service life of the battery depends on different factors.The most important wear-relevant factors are• the number of charging cycles and• the age of the battery.According to the technical definition, the battery is used ifits capacity is only 60% in the new condition.The battery of course also ages over time. Even if you donot use your battery, its capacity reduces.
