– 9 Turn the spray lance to "Mix" position.Note: This will mix the detergent withthe water stream. Spray the detergent sparingly on thedry surface and allow it to react, but notto dry. Spray off loosened dirt with the high-pressure jet. Release the lever on the trigger gun.Illustration Lock the lever on the trigger gun. During longer breaks (more than 5 min-utes), also turn the appliance off usingthe "0/OFF" switch. Insert the trigger gun in its holder.CautionOnly separate the high-pressure hose fromthe trigger gun or the appliance while thereis no pressure in the system. After operation with detergent: Run themachine for approximately 1 minute fora clear rinse. Release the lever on the trigger gun. Turn off the appliance "0/OFF". Turn off tap. Press the lever on the trigger gun to re-lease any remaining pressure in thesystem.Illustration Lock the lever on the trigger gun. Detach the appliance from the watersupply. Pull out the mains plug.CautionIn order to prevent accidents or injuries,keep in mind the weight of the applianceduring transport (see Specifications). Pull the appliance by its transport han-dle. Empty detergent tank. Secure the appliance against shiftingand tipping over.CautionIn order to prevent accidents or injuries,keep in mind the weight of the appliancewhen selecting a storage location for it (seeSpecifications).Prior to extended storage periods, as dur-ing the winter, also observe the instructionsin the Care section. Park the machine on an even surface. Push the casing of the quick couplingfor the high pressure hose toward therear and disconnect the high pressurehose from the appliance. Press the disconnect on the trigger gunand remove the high pressure hosefrom the trigger gun. Insert the trigger gun in its holder. Engage the spray lance in its compart-ment. Stow away the mains cable, the high-pressure hose and accessory on theappliance.CautionProtect the appliance and its accessoriesagainst frost.The appliance and its accessories can getdestroyed through frost if there are any wa-ter residues in them. To avoid damage tothem: Completely drain all water from the ap-pliance: Switch the appliance on withdetached high-pressure hose and de-tached water supply (max. 1 minute)and wait, until no more water exits at thehigh-pressure connection.
