– 9CautionProtect the appliance and its accessories againstfrost.The appliance and its accessories can get de-stroyed through frost if there is any water resi-dues in them. To avoid damage to them: Completely drain all water from the appli-ance: Switch the appliance on with detachedhigh pressure hose and detached water sup-ply (max. 1 minute) and wait, until no morewater exits at the high pressure connection.Turn off the appliance. Store the appliance and the entire accesso-ries in a frost free room. DangerTurn off the appliance and remove the mainsplug prior to any care and maintenance work.Prior to longer periods of storage, e.g. in the win-ter: Remove filter from suction hose for deter-gent and clean under running water. Pull out the sieve in the water connection us-ing flat-nose pliers and clean under runningwater.The appliance is maintenance free.Use only original KÄRCHER spare parts. Youwill find a list of spare parts at the end of theseoperating instructions.You can rectify minor faults yourself with the helpof the following overview.If in doubt, please consult the authorized cus-tomer service. DangerTurn off the appliance and remove the mainsplug prior to any care and maintenance work.Repair works may only be performed by the au-thorised customer service. Pull on the lever of the trigger gun; the devicewill switch on. Check whether the voltage indicated on thetype plate corresponds to the voltage of themains supply. Check the mains connection cable for dam-ages. Check setting at the spray lance. Appliance ventilation: Switch the applianceon with the high-pressure hose detachedand operate (max. 2 minutes) until the waterexits the high-pressure connection withoutbubbles. Switch off appliance and reconnecthigh-pressure hose. Check the water supply. Pull out the sieve in the water connection us-ing flat-nose pliers and clean under runningwater. Clean high-pressure nozzle: Remove dirt anddebris from the nozzle bore, using a needleand rinse through with water from the front. Check water flow quantity. Slight leakage from the appliance pump isnormal.
