– 8Suitable for use with detergents.Suitable for use with detergents.The rotating washing brush is ideally suited forthe cleaning of vehicles.CautionPlease make sure that the washing brush is freefrom dirt or other particles. Otherwise, it maydamage the paint work.Please use exclusively KÄRCHER detergentsand care products to carry out the respectivecleaning task, as these were specifically devel-oped for your appliance. The use of other deter-gents and care products may lead to prematurewear and can invalidate your warranty claims.Please obtain information at your local dealer orrequest information directly from KÄRCHER. Detach spray lance from the trigger gun.Work only with the trigger gun.Note: This will mix the detergent with the wa-ter stream.Illustration Pull detergent suction hose as far as is re-quired out of the housing. Suspend end of detergent suction hose in acontainer filled with detergent.Optional Fill the detergent solution in the detergenttank (observe dosage instructions on thepackaging of the detergent). Spray the detergent sparingly on the dry sur-face and allow it to react, but not to dry. Spray off loosened dirt with the high pres-sure jet. Release the lever on the trigger gun.Illustration Lock the lever on the trigger gun. During longer breaks (more than 5 minutes),also turn the appliance off using the "0/OFF"switch. Insert the trigger gun in its holder.CautionOnly separate the high-pressure hose from thetrigger gun or the appliance while there is nopressure in the system. After operation with detergent: Run the ma-chine for approximately 1 minute for a clearrinse. Release the lever on the trigger gun. Turn off the appliance "0/OFF". Turn off tap. Press the lever on the trigger gun to releaseany remaining pressure in the system.Illustration Lock the lever on the trigger gun. Detach the appliance from the water supply. Pull out the mains plug.CautionIn order to prevent accidents or injuries, keep inmind the weight of the appliance during transport(see Specifications). Lift appliance by the carrying handle and car-ry it. Pull the appliance by its transport handle. Empty detergent tank. Secure the appliance against shifting andtipping over.CautionIn order to prevent accidents or injuries, keep inmind the weight of the appliance when selectinga storage location for it (see Specifications).Prior to extended storage periods, as during thewinter, also observe the instructions in the Caresection. Park the machine on an even surface. Push the casing of the quick coupling for thehigh pressure hose toward the rear and dis-connect the high pressure hose from the ap-pliance. Press the disconnect on the trigger gun andremove the high pressure hose from the trig-ger gun. Insert the trigger gun in its holder. Engage the spray lance in its compartment. Stow away the mains cable, the high-pres-sure hose and accessory on the appliance.Washing brushRotary washing brushWorking with detergentRecommended cleaning methodInterrupting operationFinish operationTransportWhen transporting by handWhen transporting in vehiclesStorageStoring the Appliance16 EN
