– 6 Observe a distance of at least 30 cm whenusing the jet to clean painted surfaces toavoid damaging paintwork. Never leave the appliance unattended whenit is in operation. Make sure that the power cable or extensioncables are not damaged by running over,pinching, dragging or similar. Protect thepower cable from heat, oil, and sharp edges. All current-conducting parts in the workingarea must be protected against jet water. The appliance may only be connected to anelectrical supply which has been installed inaccordance with IEC 60364. The appliance may only be connected to al-ternating current. The voltage must corre-spond with the type plate on the appliance. For safety reasons, we recommend that youoperate the appliance only via an earth-leak-age circuit breaker (max. 30 mA). Cleaning operations which produce oilywaste water, e.g. engine washes, underbodywashes, may only be carried out using wash-ing stations equipped with an oil separator.CautionSafety devices protect the user and must not bemodified or bypassed.The appliance switch prevents unintentional op-eration of the appliance.This lock locks the lever of the trigger gun andprevents the inadvertent start of the appliance.The overflow valve prevents the permissibleworking pressure from being exceeded.If the lever on the trigger gun is released thepressure switch turns off the pump, the highpressure jet is stopped. If the lever is pulled thepump is turned on again.CautionCreate stability for the appliance prior to all workon or with the appliance to prevent accidents ordamage.– The stability of the appliance is warrantedwhen it is placed onto an even surface.These operating instructions describe the maxi-mum equipment.
