WarrantyThe Seller guarantees that thesupplied product is free from materialdefects and manufacturing faults. Thiswarranty does not cover any defectswhich are caused, either directly orindirectly, by incorrect use,carelessness, accidental damage,repair, inadequate maintenance orcleaning and normal wear and tear.Guarantee and/or warranty claimsmust be made within twelve monthsfrom the date of purchase (date ofinvoice). Any further claims shall beexcluded.This warranty includes all guaranteeobligations of the Seller and replacesall previous declarations andagreements concerning warranties.The warranty period is valid for eighthours of daily use. If this is exceeded,the warranty period shall be reducedin proportion to the excess use, but tono less than three months.Returning rejected goods requires theprior express consent of the Seller andis at the Buyer’s risk and expense.Further warranty details can be foundin the General Terms and Conditions(GTC). The GTC can be viewed atwww.jettools.com or can be sent bypost upon request.The Seller reserves the right to makechanges to the product andaccessories at any time.3. Safety3.1 Authorized useThis sander is designed for sandingwood and similar materials only.Sanding of other materials is notpermitted and may be carried out inspecific cases only after consultingwith the manufacturer.The machine is not suitable for wetsanding.The proper use also includescompliance with the operating andmaintenance instructions given in thismanual.The machine must be operated onlyby persons familiar with its operationand maintenance and who are familiarwith its hazards.The required minimum age must beobserved.The machine must only be used in atechnically perfect condition.When working on the machine, allsafety mechanisms and covers mustbe mounted.In addition to the safety requirementscontained in these operatinginstructions and your country’sapplicable regulations, you shouldobserve the generally recognizedtechnical rules concerning theoperation of woodworking machines.Any other use exceeds authorization.In the event of unauthorized use of themachine, the manufacturer renouncesall liability and the responsibility istransferred exclusively to the operator.3.2 General safety notesWoodworking machines can bedangerous if not used properly.Therefore the appropriate generaltechnical rules as well as the followingnotes must be observed.Read and understand the entireinstruction manual before attemptingassembly or operation.Keep this operating instruction closeby the machine, protected from dirtand humidity, and pass it over to thenew owner if you part with the tool.No changes to the machine may bemade.
